One day you get a letter from your grandfather asking for help. A strange stone circle appeared in the peaceful world of Sunrise Village. Buildings got entangled in thorny vines and everything got covered in a mysterious thick fog. Seems like it all leads back to an ancient tale about legendary crafters creating six magical crystals to harness the elemental energy – will you be able to find them? Hurry up and help your grandfather to restore the Village and solve its mysteries!

Meet friendly villagers along your way and help rebuilding their homes and workshops. Take care of lovely farm animals – chickens and cows are waiting for your attention. Harvest and produce goods – peas, hay, plywood, gravel and even sweets! These and many more resources you will need to get energy, restore the farm, travel, build a hot air balloon and get closer to solving the mystery of Sunrise Village.

Get away from the city buzz, enjoy a wild nature scenery and experience the breathtaking beauty of the Sunrise Village, Woodlands and other surrounding areas. Navigate the world map and unlock new lands. Start your adventure now!

After the project for Alice in Wonderland has been cancelled, the full team moved on and started working on another Hidden Object Game but with a new internal IP.

I left the project after 8-9 months to work for InnoGames GmbH. During this time, I worked on the Art Direction, Art team management, reviewing and recruiting Outsourcers (Virgin Lands) and building the production pipe.

Creating the scenes for this game was quite a challenging one as we wanted to have a parallax effect and scenes looking like a 2D image. In the end, we created the scenes in full 3D, render them (on multiple layers and pass) and then re-created a low 3D real time scene with projection mapping (from the renders).

At the moment I left Bigpoint, 12 scenes were fully done, 12 more in the pipe and most of the characters were fully modelled, some with their facial expressions.

Alice in Wonderland

Hidden object game based on Disney's "Alice through the Looking Glass" IP. The project started in January 2016 and was initiated by a pitch I delivered in June 2015. For multiple reasons, the project was cancelled after 6 months. Within this time, we were able to produce 20 scenes, each populated with about 80 objects.

SplitApple was a personal project at first that started late 2009 with the collaboration of the MKO Games former lead programmer. I had the idea and the feeling to create a game for iPhone when the 3GS was released. The touch controls and the accelerometer directly pushed me to design an archery game that would mix both arcade and simulation.

My programmer stopped the project for personal reasons and so did I in february 2010. This is in the beginning of 2011, when MKO Games finish his work for Sony London Studio that I proposed the project to the company.

After three months of hard work, SplitApple was released on the appStore. It comes in three versions, "Lite" (free demo), "for iPhone" (with Retina support) and the "HD" universal one (iPhone & iPad). Even with no marketing budget, the game was successful. It has an average review of 4 out of 5, both on specialized websites and users.

It was 1st of the french appStore for a whole week and reached some other top 10. It figured in many Apple's selections including the "Cutting-Edge Games" in 93 countries. This is a great honor for me as I designed and realised the whole game except code and sound!

SplitApple - Environment

A peaceful natural place in San Francisco where the bowman parked his R.V. to practice his favorite sport, archery!

SplitApple - Bowman

Like any bowman, the main character is a thin tall guy. He was fully inspired by Errol Flynn, but in a modern vision of "Robin Hood".

SplitApple - Targets

SplitApple includes 3 types of targets, a static one, a moving one and a Poping-Up! Even if they look very professional, I designed them to be hand crafted with recuperation materials to reinforce the adventurer profile of the character.

SplitApple - User Interface

Here are some sprites and fonts sheets. These 2D elements were done with Photoshop.

MKO Games asked me for ideas about a new game that would re-use the engine and gameplay of SplitApple. The answer was "Darts!".

While working on the "The Little Prince" website for french television (based on the animated series by Method Animation) I managed the art team and added some support on T-80 Darts datas production :
Art direction guidelines, game icon and title, creation of the main character, design of in-game UI, quick environment texture enhancements.

Doug

I designed (in ZBrush) and create this character for the second MKO Games iPhone game T-80 (after SplitApple). This is a Darts game taking place in an a pub. I wanted the art to be cartoonish and the characters to wear some kind of bowling suits (like in "the big lebowski"). I like the contrast of this big Irishman's arms compared to the darts he is throwing. Socks and Sandals are for gentle mockery...
